But the solution lies in digitization! GlassTrack frees you from this logistical constraint by tracking your stillages and keeping your customers informed. The psychological effect of tracking ensures that your customers release the stilages more quickly and don't misplace them.

Better communication with your customers

Via GlassTrack (or your ERP), orders can be linked to a rack. This way, you know which stillage has been delivered to which customer, and how many days it's been there. This enables you to send an accurate inventory to your customers (on a monthly basis) with a list of the stillages immobilized and the number of days they've been with your customer (even the position can be included). Your customer has clear data, so he can't deny that the stillage is still with him.

There are several ways to mark stillages as empty. You can empty them yourself when the customer calls, or the customer can do it even more easily by scanning the QR code you place on the stillages. Drivers can see in real time which racks are empty, so they can efficiently go and find the nearest racks.

Using the GlassTrack mobile application, the driver can consult the list of racks. This list can be filtered to show only empty racks on the map. As the driver's position is also indicated, he can easily and visually select a stillage to pick up. The GlassTrack application can even transmit the position to another navigation application (such as Google Maps,...) so that the driver can easily navigate to the stillage.

As stillages transmit their own location twice a day, this is already a first indication of the customer to whom the rack is linked. However, HeronTrack also features the Order module, which enables you to link racks to orders and customers (either manually or automatically via a link with your ERP). This enables you to know with certainty which customer to contact if you notice that a stillage hasn't been returned for several months.

If you use the Order module, easels are automatically marked as "full" when linked to an order. When a stillage returns from the customer, the order is automatically dissociated and the rack is marked as "empty". This gives you an accurate view of the loaded and empty racks in your warehouse.

The GlassTrack platform provides several useful reports. In the "Tools - Number of days out" report, you can request a list of all racks that have not been in the warehouse for x days. For each stillage, you immediately get all the information you need to know which customer to contact.
